Education In the Black Communtiy

I have found that in most black communities, education differs a great deal than in the white communities. There are a few main factors that play a part in this conspiracy.  Crime, support, and organization are the reasons why they differ so much.
In the white communities, they make it an effort to explain the importance of education, however, in the black community, there is very little focus.  The focus is taken off of education and put other things.  There is a lot of crime in the black community. Therefore, the students are distracted from their work and more focused on remaining safe or staying out of trouble.
Also, there is not much support.  By support I mean from parents, the government, the surrounding communities etc.  There is a lot of suffering that takes place in most black communities and there is no one that is willing to assist and help guide the children more towards education.  This is a major distraction for the children because instead of doing homework, they are often wondering how will their family survive and they will be thinking about things they do not have that they may need.
Last but not least, organization.  Most of the black communities do not have any organization amongst the community.  Too assist the children that are trying to learn organization is needed.  When a community comes together to help each other it will give a better environment for the young children in school.  Also, when there is organization, there could be things found to help the kids stay in school.
These three factors are just a few of the issues that is taking place in the black communities.  Unless a change is made, the educational rate for black children will continue to drop.  If people pay attention and lend a hand , it could bring upon a change.  The cycle needs to be broken.
